Jo Arbon is the founder and of Holistic Hound UK and Ireland.

 

Jo is a certified Master Herbalist and an experienced veterinary herbalist, working in the field of complementary health care and behaviour since 2002.

 

Jo trained initially through the Animal Care College, subsequently specialising in Herbal Therapies for Dogs with Dr. Jimmy Symmonds (co-founder of the British Association of Veterinary Herbalists BAVH) and latterly with Barbara Fougére through the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapy, and with the Caroline Ingraham Foundation  for Applied Zoopharmacognosy. 

 

She is also a qualified Canine First Responder, has a diploma in Kennel and Cattery management, and a trained T-touch practitioner. And is currently enjoying the instruction of Nando Brown, Jo Rosie and Dean Nicholas  in their  School of Canine Science, focusing on the behavioural aspects of canine wellbeing.  

 

Jo is a regular speaker at a number of Natural Dog Health conferences at both local, national and international level; and hosts training workshops and talks for other pet industry professionals and pet parents on how to safely and effectively incorporate herbs, diet and other natural therapies into the everyday wellbeing of their pets.

 

She is an associate member for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (Ireland), and the Irish Professional Dog Groomers Association
